Slowly Getting Out of the Mud

I took the time today to make my own throttle cables for my new carbs. I actually impressed myself with my soldering skills. I also bolted the carbs up to the motor. I had to get new hose clamps because the stock ones were too big. Now the Mikunis are on there nice and tight.

Next I have to figure out what I'm doing with the tank!

Stuck In the Mud

Boy oh boy, not much progress has been made. Basically since this is my first project bike I'm trying to learn as I go. I haven't lost interest though I have been distracted by other things. I've picked up two more bikes actually. One is a 1986 Yamaha SRX600. The other is a 1979 Honda CT90. I'm also in the process of getting my motorcycle endorsement so I can actually ride these relics that I'm collecting.

I did get a chance to go out to the AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days at Mid-Ohio last weekend. It was the first time I had gone and I was blown away! I couldn't believe how big it actually was. I came totally unprepared for all the action. Next time I'll be ready!

Hang in there, I'm trying my best to get things sorted so I can get this cafe up and running.
